hello :] ! firstly, thank u ! i’m very glad u like the big bow i gave him !!

to be perfectly honest with u, most of my designs and their elements don’t have a ton of conscious thought to them … to me, they just Feel Right, if that makes any sense ? it’s pure intuition. i gave kieran a big bow on his hat (u can’t hardly ever see it usually but it’s there) and i thought it would be very cute to have javi match with him :’] and personally, with javier’s sense of style, i do think he would accessorize more if given the circumstance, including things like bows (canonically he usually wears similar items around his neck- we could dare to say a few were originally hairpieces), so i just think it suits him ! so no crazy backstory, but the design i draw him with is post-kieran influence, which means that his bow is much bigger than the one i headcanon he used to wear before kieran gifted him bigger ribbons. i’d draw what pre and post kieran javi designs look like to me but im at work </3

#i imagine he used to wear a very thin ribbon to tie his hair #like bolo tie thin #just because i do think he would enjoy the fashion of a nice bow #but kieran has a BIG BIG bow on his hat and he always ties it himself #so he knows how and where to buy nice ribbons #so he’ll get silken ribbons for javier’s hair as a gift because he saw that he ties his hair with ribbon #and the bow is bigger than what javi is used to so at first he feels a bit awkward #like ‘this is kinda girly no ?’#but he eventually becomes very fond of it and starts to wear them relatively often esp when they match his outfit #anyway i just think he’d care about the presentation #esp to suitors (particularly women because women love a man who can be a little feminine)#like he cares about tying it back and he cares about accentuating his waist and he cares about his spurs being visible and i just think he #would LITERALLY put a bow on to top it all off 🫶#sorry for rambling and also sorry for not having a more exciting answer <//3 #it’s my fav part of my design for him though i think so thank u so much i’m so happy u like it #and thank u for the ask !!!!!#oizys-the-mutt #rdr2 #javier escuella #javieran #technically #text #ask #hero's yelling at folks again
